Who Is Marion? Exploring the Detoxification and Immunoactivation Approach
If you live in Britain, it is very likely that you have never come across the name “Marion,” or perhaps you have only encountered it in passing—whether while travelling abroad, through someone mentioning it locally, or even while browsing social media. In some parts of Europe, however, the name is far more familiar, particularly among people interested in natural health approaches and holistic medicine. Over the years, the Marion method and its related products have gained attention for their focus on supporting the body’s natural balance and self-regulation.
For many people in the United Kingdom, this approach is still relatively unknown, which often raises a simple question: what exactly is Marion, and what does it represent? Is it a brand, a health philosophy, or a therapeutic method? In reality, it is a combination of all three—bringing together a system of detoxification and Immunoactivation with specialised preparations designed to support this process.
If this is the first time you are hearing about Marion, you are certainly not alone. In the following sections, we will explain who we are, where the method comes from, and how the principles of detoxification and Immunoactivation aim to support the body’s natural ability to maintain balance and health.
Who are we?
We are Marion Distributor, a distribution company based in England dedicated to promoting and distributing Marion food supplements to the British market. We aim to make these products and the ideas behind them more accessible to people in the United Kingdom who are interested in supporting their health in a natural and holistic way.
The company we work with and represent is MARION, a Czech organisation that developed the method of Detoxification and Immunoactivation. This approach combines principles of holistic medicine with electro-acupuncture (EAV) and specialised information supplements designed to support the body’s natural regulatory processes.
The method focuses on identifying and addressing factors that may disrupt the body’s balance, helping guide the organism in its response to various internal and external influences, including pathogens and environmental stressors. Through this approach, the goal is to support the body’s natural ability to restore balance and maintain overall well-being.
However, our mission goes far beyond distribution. We aim to spread awareness of the Detoxification and Immunoactivation method across the United Kingdom and introduce more people to its principles and potential benefits. By educating individuals about this holistic approach, we hope to encourage a more profound understanding of how the body’s natural regulatory systems work and how they can be supported. An important part of our mission is also to train qualified Detoxification Therapists who can apply this method in practice. Through proper training and guidance, these therapists can help individuals better understand their bodies and support their health in a natural and preventative way.
In truth, the world we live in today is constantly exposed to toxins—in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we consume. Modern lifestyles, environmental pollution, processed foods, and everyday stress all contribute to a constant stream of factors that can burden our bodies and affect our overall well-being. Over time, these influences may disrupt the body’s natural balance and place additional strain on its regulatory systems. Realistically, it would be impossible to eliminate all of these exposures or avoid them completely. We cannot fully control the surrounding environment, nor can we shield ourselves from every external influence. However, this does not mean that we are powerless. What we can do is take preventative steps to support our bodies and strengthen their natural ability to cope with these challenges.
Caring for our bodies today is key to maintaining long-term health. By paying attention to what we consume, how we live, and how we support our body’s natural processes, we can help maintain balance and resilience over time. Rather than waiting until serious problems arise, many people choose to focus on prevention and proactive care.
One approach that seeks to support the body in this way is detoxification. But in this context, what exactly does detoxification mean?
What is Detoxification?
Detoxification and Immunoactivation is a holistic health method developed by MUDr. Josef Jonas. One of the key principles of holistic medicine is to identify the root causes of disease rather than focusing only on the symptoms, and the detoxification method follows this philosophy. Instead of addressing individual difficulties in isolation, it seeks to understand how different factors within the body interact and influence overall health. This approach views the human organism as a complex and interconnected system in which physical, environmental, and psychological influences all play a role. By identifying disruptive factors and supporting the body’s natural regulatory processes, the aim is to help the organism restore balance and function more effectively.
Human health can be compared to a multi-storey house. At the very beginning, the foundations are laid—and if these foundations are weak, issues may appear later. These foundations are often not created solely by the individual, but also by their parents and even grandparents. The same can be said about our health, of course, a person can contribute to weak foundations through an improper diet, lifestyle, or approach to their own mental well-being. However, this is typically not the only factor. Many issues that we carry throughout our lives may stem from inherited genetic predispositions or environmental influences.
To maintain good health, we must sometimes return to our foundations and repair the cracks within them. However, this is often easier said than done. Over the course of our lives, we build many layers upon those foundations. In order to reach the root of the problem, we must first look beneath these layers. In many ways, this reflects how a single underlying issue can lead to a variety of symptoms. Rather than focusing only on the symptoms themselves, it is important to look deeper and identify the true cause.
Doctor Jonas worked in this realm for decades. After twenty years of working on his method, he came to the conclusion that most illnesses and issues are derived from ‘poison’ in our body. This poison is more commonly labelled as toxins.
Throughout the centuries, the term “toxins” has been defined in many different ways. In the past, there were no advanced scientific methods to identify microorganisms, so people often interpreted toxins as the result of impurities in the human soul or in one’s spirituality. Today, however, our current level of scientific knowledge allows us to define these toxins much more precisely and to divide them into several groups:
- Toxic substances in the environment – chemicals, radioactivity, toxic metals, etc.
- Chemical toxins that enter the body from chemically synthesised drugs, smoking, drug addiction, etc.
- Toxins from food – metabolites, food additives, etc.
- Psychological toxins – pathological mental programs, emotions, stress, anxiety, etc.
- Toxins transmitted by heredity – especially from the mother’s body to the developing foetus
- microbial toxins – viruses, bacteria, infectious agents, etc.
The human organism functions best when its regulatory processes work efficiently. A well-regulated organism can exist in a healthy state for more than a hundred years. Regulation in the human body is based on the principle of so-called autoregulation, which refers to processes that occur automatically and independently of our conscious will. When this natural balance is disturbed, chaos can arise within the organism, leading to disease and dysfunction in various bodily and nervous systems. Our effort, therefore, is to return a good autoregulation capacity to the organism—or, in more scientific terms, to reduce the level of entropy within the organism.
Autoregulation in the human organism is maintained through a balance between two opposing forces, representing harmony and equilibrium within the body. When one of these forces becomes dominant, this harmony is disturbed. Such imbalances may arise from various influences, including diet, mental state, the surrounding environment, and the people around us. For this reason, it is important to strive for balance and avoid extreme influences whenever possible. Factors that disrupt the balance of our organism—and therefore interfere with its autoregulatory processes—can generally be referred to as toxins.
Toxins can essentially be disruptive substances from our environment, elements in our diet that the body cannot properly accept or process, as well as stress and other negative influences. By removing these toxic factors, the body’s ability to autoregulate can be restored. As a result, restlessness and internal chaos are reduced, harmony returns, and entropy decreases—this is the ultimate goal of the healing process.
The removal of toxins that disrupt the autoregulation processes in our body is called detoxification.
What is the EAV method?
In order to understand what the body truly needs—what is meaningful, what is essential, what truly works, and what we have learned to tolerate—we must first discover what exists in excess within our organism, both physically and mentally. Acquiring this knowledge is not easy, and conventional medicine does not always offer tools or procedures capable of revealing it. Neither X-rays, nor even the most advanced computed tomography scans or electrophysiological methods, can fully show this internal state.
If we are to compete with current medicine, we must have a high success rate in obtaining this knowledge. The Voll method can help identify unwanted toxins in both the physical and psychological spheres. Once these are identified, treatment can begin. At the same time, it is essential to determine whether the chosen method is actually leading toward the desired outcome. This, too, can be evaluated with the help of the Voll device.
In the past, particularly before the 1980s, there were relatively few people in the world using the Voll method. As a result, there was limited expertise in its application. Experience was lacking, relevant literature was scarce, and, most importantly, there were few preparations available that could give the device a meaningful therapeutic purpose. For these reasons, many people avoided becoming involved with the method.
Doctor Jonas, observing the state of the world around him, decided it was time for a change. He formerly worked as a senior consultant in the psychiatric ward of a hospital, but eventually left after realising that he wanted to help people in a more natural way. Since then, he continued to develop and perfect this method until his untimely death in 2025. Despite that, his method keeps growing across Europe with the help of many of his trusted partners.
Our Mission
As distributors in the United Kingdom, our mission is to continue spreading the method developed by Doctor Jonas and making it more accessible to those who are interested in a holistic approach to health. We aim not only to provide the food supplements he developed, but also to share the knowledge and principles behind the Detoxification and Immunoactivation method.
Alongside the supplements, the EAV method plays an important role in this approach, and part of our work involves training practitioners who wish to learn how to apply it in practice. By educating new therapists and raising awareness of the method, we hope to help more people understand how they can support their body’s natural balance.
Both the supplements created by Doctor Jonas and the EAV-based diagnostic approach continue to support many people in their daily efforts to maintain their health. As awareness of holistic and preventative health practices continues to grow, we believe this method will continue to help people for many years to come.
